#Update v1.1:

_________________

With all of its amazing features, Blender also has its own little list of annoying hoops you have to jump through.

One of them relates to flipping/mirroring objects.

"Flipper" is especially useful for:

What is the difference between the mirror command and "Flipper"?

The mirror command in Blender only changes your object's scale (and location), but not its rotation, which you might want it to. Additionally, as seen in the demo above mirroring an object can also cause weird behavior with sudden flipping on a seemingly random axis. As long as you apply the rotation of the object you want to mirror, you will have no problems with the mirror command, but oftentimes it is favorable to keep the object rotation and then the mirror command can act unexpectedly.

But now... You can use 'Flipper' to mirror/flip your object on either the world x, y, or z-axis. With the pie menu, you can pick the direction and also the pivot for the flipping.

This little tool is one that I use all the time myself and it is one that can speed up your workflow and spare you spending time on something as simple as mirroring an object.

Please consider supporting me by paying for the add-on. This allows me to create and share more of my tools and packages with you.
